bound in words

I am bound in words. Words fighting over who goes and who stays; who is right to convey. It’s as if a hush has taken over the voice of my madness and I can no longer speak. I feel sick.

Slumber does steal sorrow and shame.
The hush of dawn swiftly quiets the dark.
Come now
close your eyes.
Destroy broken.
See its shadow
try to flee
as you dismantle and dismember
its pervasive sickness.
Fill your cauldron with the likes of
worthless and disgust
invisible and shameful.
Hurl them into your cauldron.
STAND
Watch them burn.
Hear their screams.
Time has been waiting.
Come now.
Crack the doors of your heart
and let your journey begin.
